Chow Down with Unleashed Life

Raised dog bowls are a huge plus in you and your dogs life. They're cute and have many benefits! Here at Pucci and Catana we carry a wide variety of Unleashed Life, luxury raised dog bowls. Some are nickel plated porcelain, to hand hammered designs and cast resin!

What makes raised food bowls better?

- They aid in digestion.
- The bowl wont slide around.
- Solves a messy eater.
- Helps the animals who tend to scarf their food down and get sick afterwards.
- Your dog will maintain a proper standing posture.
- It causes less strain on their necks and backs.
- When the head is above the stomach, the food will travel more efficiently down the digestive track.

What is the correct height for my dog?

To figure out the correct height for your dog is a super easy task! Get a tape measure (like the ones used to sew with) and measure from under the dogs front paws to the tops of his/her shoulders. Once you have done that you will want to subtract 6 inches from the original measurement.

If you don't have a tape measure on hand, no worries! Here are some recommended heights for the breed!

- Small Breeds: includes Havanese, Pugs, Chihuahuas, Toy Poodles, etc. You will want to purchase a bowl between 2 to 6 inches in height.
- Medium Breeds: includes Beagles, Border Collies, and Spaniels. You will want to purchase a bowl between 7 to 14 inches in height.
- Large Breeds: includes Golden Retrievers, Chow Chows, Boxers, etc. You will want to purchase a bowl between 15 to 20 inches in height.
- Extra Large Breeds: includes Great Danes, Mastiffs, Blood Hounds, etc. You will want to purchase a bowl between 21 to 27 inches in height.
